Argentina: First Impressions

The border crossing to Argentina was very easy but confusing. The least communicative border officials I’ve ever met, but once they started processing me they were friendly and careful to speak clearly. I was especially delighted at this last as the Spanish in Argentina is one of the most difficult to understand in the world.

Bolivia: Final Thoughts

Thinking about Bolivia, I realized that I am ambivalent about most of the country. The Salar de Uyuni is spectacular and Sucre is amazing. But nowhere else left a significant impression either good or bad. So it appears I’ve already said everything I need to about this country….

Scenes From Sucre

Sucre is one of the prettier cities I’ve been to. Here are some interesting pictures to pique your interest and give you a reason to visit the city yourself.

Life On The Road: The Trip Has Ended

As I mentioned in the previous post this trip recently changed radically. I’ve come to the conclusion that trip traveling the world has ended. It is not the end of my adventures and I am not going home. But neither am I traveling. What I am doing next is perhaps a logical progression based on . . . → Read More: Life On The Road: The Trip Has Ended

Changes

I’ve been on the road 16 months. A lot has happened in that time. A lot has changed. After I completed the repairs on my motorcycle I realized I realized I needed to take stock of these changes before I move on. It is just too easy to see new things every day and not . . . → Read More: Changes
